Lyn Stanley - Fever - I love this tune and have a lot of covers of it.
Tony Furtado - Amazing Grace - Wandered into this one by accident.
Music - I really like Fever. Amazing Grace is interesting, but I am not sure it will stay in my frequent rotation.
Sound Quality - Fever is excellent, the vocals are big, the instruments image well and the track draws you in so much that I forgot to evaluate the SQ the first few times through. Amazing Grace is a great example of capturing the sound of a single instrument. I think the mic may have been close to the slide guitar and I found some of the sounds associated with the slide on the strings detracted from the performance. Seems weird, but that my 1st impression.
So far I like HiRez. I mostly get HiRez of modern recordings rather than older recordings. I am not sure if the SQ is a result of the HiRez recording, excellent engineering of these recordings or both.
