Well,simply speaking,the full documentation is not in the public domain, last time I looked.

Be my guest. Reverse engineer the stuff and write a new open source compatible version that can use any UAC2 interface . And document the hardware side implementation.

Well, I have not looked at the theory. In practice DoP is surprisingly straight forward. It has a tendency for DC glitches on track change - but that would be the same using any DSD signal, cannot blame that on DoP. Adjust your muting timing me sez...
