Home Hi-Rez Highway

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

It's pretty amazing

Yes - I think you and I have agreed before on this (except that I use paid Spotify instead of MOG). Sometimes its amazing how well the quality of a recording can come through at 320kbps. OTOH, I've found that some recordings that don't sound that great on Spotify can actually sound pretty decent at CD or hi-rez resolution. IOW, if it sounds good on Spotify, it's likely to sound good (or even great) at better resolutions; if it doesn't sound so good on Spotify (in terms of engineering), that doesn't necessarily mean that it won't sound good a higher data rates.
