Absolutely true !
I removed the cover of my Oppo 95 the second week I had it ! ( That piggybacked circuit really causes the player to heat up quickly ! A cover that just lays on the top edge of player offers enough ventilation to prevent the fan from kicking in )
The funny thing is my 95 isn't seeing too much play time as I'm enjoying my Auraliti PK100 into a CEntrance DACmini more & I really have' nt put that many hours on them yet ! Now I suppose I'll have to track down an older PS3 so I can rip my SACDs to Hi-Rez files I can then play them through the Auraliti !
