I agree, there is a completist attitude not unlike the early days of SACD, when every other Sony release was a Miles Davis or George Szell title.

But what happened to the Steely Dan catalog? Aja was SHM-SACD'ed, Royal Scam was announced, then cancelled, and now...nothing. I was so hopeful we would see all the classic SD titles on SACD but it looks like it won't happen.
