Just merely to cite my opinion, I have dozens of those 50’s/early 60’s recordings and in keeping with my experience they have all (or all that come to mind) been surpassed. If labels turned back the clock and made recordings like that I would not support those labels, at least not consistently. Keep in mind I do enjoy the Living Stereo releases I just like modern releases far better. To me they sound far closer to "no channels), not two, three, or multi-channel. I don't count the microphones.
