The sound quality of all of Ray's SACD's is extraordinary.
But to my ears the Joe McQueen disc has jazz content typically found in the lounge of a middle-tier convention hotel. YMMV, but it's in the bottom ten percent of the 250 or so jazz SACD's in my collection.
Although not at all knowledgable in classical music, I listen to both of Kimber's Fry Street String Quartet albums more than I'll ever spin the McQueen disc.
