RE: Best label for sound quality on classical SACDs?

You comments regarding general audio quality of various labels, the house sound, tells me more about your playback system rather than giving facts about these labels.

I may be wrong, but on certain equipment particularly electrostatics combined with tube electronics, older re-masters such as RCA living Stereo sound a lot better than high efficiency dynamic speakers powered by SS gear. The main problem with Dynamic speakers/SS gear is garbage in, garbage out and that tends to bring out some of the nasties from older recordings, such as tape hiss and lower dynamic range as well as higher compression that is there but it is nice if they can be filtered off by using ribbon/tube gear that tends to smoothen the rough edges by offering “fatigue free” listening to some folks who like it that way.
