I have purchased about 100 SACDs - almost all classical. The company with the most consistent high sound quality seems to be Pentatone, Channel Classics and BIS. Sony (except Japanese Sony) seem consistently poor with Linn and Telarc in between. I only listen in two channel. Others experiences? The sound ratings from TAS (especially Pearson) seem very accurate. The ratings from SACDnet and Amazon less so but still helpful although I have been burned especially with SONY.
