From OPPO Customer Service December 15, 2009:
"1. This error when transitioning between SACD tracks is a known issue which has not been resolved. We are still investigating what we can do to resolve this through future firmware implementations."
The mid-December beta firmware resolved an SACD dropout issue that some SE's encountered. I've owned a BDP-83 since the Early Adoption Program and upgraded to SE the week it was announced. There have been perhaps a half dozen firmware upgrades since intro early in 2009, and OPPO Digital is the most responsive company I've ever dealt with. But SACD readability remains a periodic issue, notwithstanding the great sound quality and extreme value of the player..
