Given I just invested in a 2 channel SACD player this kind of comment grabs my attention! :0

The recording must be exponentially more difficult for multi-channel. The processor must also be supremely good to take advantage of extra channels while not compromising front 2. And then the extra expense of more speakers and cables. Not something I would lightly venture into without clear evidence of significant improvement...

A bit like having an elephant trunk. Extremely useful and tactile, but takes the baby elephant a while to master...
