With good SACD playback, I don't notice that choking of dynamics, bleaching of timbral colours, grinding of music into bits and closing in of the soundstage that distracts me about CD.

Basically, with SACD one does not notice any distracting ceiling imposed upon the music that keeps it from springing to life.

With the latest EMM labs pcm translation update, CDs sound better than before, but compared to SACD, the gap is unmistakable when playing a well recorded acoustic ensemble.
