I have the Pioneer DV 79i player and TSX59i receiver and have them connected via iLink. Really is outstanding sound. I am sure that there is better out there but I feel no need to upgrade. Sad that the licensing fees killed iLink and is replaced by HDMI though based upon what I have read HDMI does not do such a good job on Cds of all things.

I have $1200 invested in this system and I truly couldn't be happier.
