...I thought I had found the perfect upgrade to multichannel SACD in the EMM Labs CDSD/DAC6 combo. With a new generation of EMM products, Audiogon had some sweet deals and I almost pulled the trigger. But I need a way to downmix to 4.0 channels and i discovered that neither the EMM combo nor my Theta Casablanca/Six Shooter will do this.

So what else downmixes to 4.0? I know that the Accuphase VX-700 preamp does. Any other top of the line preamps? Do any of the better SACD players downmix? Esoteric perhaps?
