Hi-Rez Highway

I am unsure anyone else recording the material exactly as...

Yo Yo. I could not resist, and repent from posting on this highly sensitive "Hi-Rez" forum; try the thick skin over at Vinyl someday.

I own Yo Yo highlights on cd, not sacd. The aforementioned film music sacd was a gift. I was hoping it sounded much better than the cd's of this type. But it was smooth to the point of boredom. No life at all, but it moved another poster to tears, almost. So to each his/her own.

I prefer other cellists to Yo Yo in classical music, so I suppose I am prejudiced, but my opinion stands. If you like classical, try Starker on Mercury SACD hybrid (some don't like SACD of this label, preferring the Cozart approved CD's). Or Fournier, Rostropovich, Piatigorsky or Casals (not on SACD). There are many others, younger artists and some on SACD.

Some others, almost all of which I own on LP:
