Had the redbook for a year before getting the SACD. Difference is substantial - almost stunning (and the redbook sounds very nice). Depth and resonance are greatly increased - latter especially gratifying on the cello. Instruments have more presence and air, and the low end is faster and more defined, though not at all digital sounding.

My mist-up moments are the excerpts from "The Mission."
