Imagine the feeling you get both sonically and ambiently being in a wonderful sounding concert hall or Jazz club for me this describes SACD. Now imagine music making in a multi-purpose event center for me that describes CD.
Both are music one highly enjoyable, one listenable.
I find SACDs to be warmer, more ambient, have thicker faster bass, midrange that makes vocals so real, and highs that are comfortable and smooth. I just got through comparing the Gould/Gottschalk SACD with the Analogue Productions LP and the SACD is even smoother than the LP, the CD can't touch either one.
It would have been a lot cheaper for me if Sony left us with LPs, Cassettes and Reel to Reels until they got Digital right and waiting until SACD to announce the Digital revolution.
Music is love,
Teresa
