I think most of the differences are system specific (but not all.)
The sense of ease of SACD is what remains for me. There is just more there, a more complete presentation. Compared to SACD CD's seem a little more ghostly, less filling :)
Things like soundstaging, freq tilt, etc. I believe are artifacts of the CD and/or SACD player.
I base this on hearing systems where the owner really optimized the CD play back compared to other systems where the owner really optimized the SACD play back. For example given the choice of optimizing SACD or CD I'd certainly choose SACD both because I have more SACDs than CDs and because I have a MC system and most of my SACDs are MC. People with more CDs than SACDs might choose the other. This isn't to say that I think you have to optimize one over the other, I believe I've done well for both CD and SACD, but I certainly have optimized MC over stereo.
