I'm a sucker for her energetic style and tho I'm a jazz neophyte I can hear enough tributes to others in her discs that I wonder how someone as young as she is can play/arrange/compose music as she does.

Still I was pleasantly surprised as I listened to this disc. It's full (loud!), but detailed and nuanced. I played it six times today, but it refused to become background music, I had to turn it off to type :)

Also, well done Michael Bishop and Gus (and company)! I haven't compared this disc directly to other recent discs but something seems different: http://www.audioasylum.com/forums/hirez/messages/24/244851.html
