You do not have to be rich to collect LPs. I was aiming for some absurd amount so I went for $50,000 I could have picked $500,000 or a million dollars and still made the same point. But I wanted it to sound absurd to drive my point home, and $50,000 was so absurd that no turntable should ever reach that point.

You don't have to be rich to collect LPs, I am living proof of that.
