Very interesting design. It looks different without being sculpted or artificially complex. There is an elegance in that design that appeals to me. From the pic the design looks slightly busy on top due to the close proximity of the screws that hold in the top plate and the operating buttons. I'm sure it looks better in reality than we can ascertain from the pictures.

My last demo at Alex's place where he basically integrated various SlimDevices products right into the Esoteric brought it home hard to me that Server-based music will be in my future as well (yeah, I'm a little late to the party I know :-) so the fact that MPS has the digital inputs is a great option - if you like the DACS in the MPS this should be excellent.

Hopefully you have a brochure or a specsheet so we can take a more detailed look at the player's specifications. If you could you scan it or type it into another post when you have the time I would appreciate it. It's exciting to see a new player on the playing field.
