Are these being discontinued without being replaced with new models? I find that rather odd.

Or are you just running scared as no current BluRay players handle SACD?

If you really have news that all of these players are going to disappear I will buy a back-up, if not I'll just wait until mine is unrepairable. I will admit the number of SACD only players have went down as most new players also play DVD and/or DVD-Audio as well as SACD.

All the major manufacturers of SACD players released new models this year, so your statement is very shocking indeed. Was this heard from an insider? And what was the source?
