YOu might also consider a Pioneer DV 79i. Used they go in the range of 300-350. Most people are dumping them to get into hi def video. Sound and build quality is outstanding. I use mine with the firewire output into a Pioneer TSX 59i receiver that I picked up for $900. Sound quality for the money is most outstanding. Firewire is the way to go as far as I am concerned.
