I have never seen nor heard Burmester CD1 but CD2 and CD3 are good collections.

In most cases I don't have the originals, but these are well done copies where I do. They are good for demonstrations or evaluations. I have taken them to CES and often heard them in rooms.

I know of no reason other than this convenience to buy them, nor any reasons to pay an exceptional price for them. I think I got each at CES for $10 each.
