What's the deal why do these Burmester test (Sampler) CDs cost $29.99?

That's twice the price of most SACDs including Telarc, for the last few years I've generally pay $15.00 or less for SACDs.
This is a 44.1kHz 16 Bit Redbook aluminum CD priced at $29.99. For that much they should at least gold plate it!!! $29.99!!!!! Now that is totally insane! But then again Burmester components are outrageously super super high priced! Maybe they are selling the name? Me I would rather have two great SACDs instead of a single redbook CD.
Sounds totally and completely insane to me.
Burmester if you would release this on SACD I would be willing to pay $19.99 for it, but not $29.99!
