Damn! SCD-1 won't play CD that it did before going to Service Center...

I put in the newer MFSL gold CD "Marc Cohn" and first I get "no disc" reading.. I try and try again, and I get it to play, but... it skips through all the way to the end without stopping itself...it plays a second or two, then skips about as much as it played..
I played the disc in my Blu-ray player, plays just fine..
Looks like back to Laredo for my SCD-1...
