I just got the new Cary 306 SACD Professional player. It's been here since last Friday, turned on, left on and mostly spinning discs to burn in.

First impressions - the sound is markedly improved over the 306-SACD (which is quite a feat in and of itself). The soundstage is bigger and has more air. What I also notice is that the dynamics, drive, bass and mid/low bass are better defined. High end is starting to open up after 100+ hours, my experience with CD players is that this will need another 200-300 hours to fully open up.

I'll post my impressions as the listening progresses.
