I don't trust magazine reviews, but if you are interested , the NAD M5 was reviewed in the January 2007 issue of the german Stereo mag, and received a sound rating of 89%. 100% is their reference players (Esoteric and Krell). For comparision, the Sony SCD-XA9000ES got 87%. The NAD has the best value/price ratio among the top players.
