Is anyone familiar with the techcnology beind these components? Will they play both SACD and DVD-A or just SACD? Is the DSD signal converted to PCM before analog or straight to analog from DSD?

I also read in a show report in Stereophile that the units would use a "customized" HDMI 2 to transfer the digital DSD signal between the two units.

Does anyone know the details.
