Thanks Rick for checking. The fuzz guitar is the solo I was referring to. I don't have the LP so maybe that's just the way that sounds. Overall I agree, the stereo sounds like stereo, as it should. Unfortunately the surround mix is not 5.1. The fact that it was sold as a 5.1 mix and that it clearly states on the back cover that it is a 5.1 mix is a misrepresentation. I read that this realease was remastered from the original quad master tapes. I question whether any remastering was going on or was this just a quick copy/transfer to SACD? Whatever is was, it was very disappointing, as a Moodies fan and lover of surround music, to be fooled by the people who produced and marketed this release. More than that, it could have been such an awesome disc - instead it's just a mediocre one (surround wise - I'm not judging the stereo mix at all).
