Just wondering if anyone has bought one of these players. Its a 2 channel only unit that plays CDs and SACDs. It lists for $3300. It claims to use 24 bit D/A for SACD instead of 1 bit. I got a reply from a Mac rep stating this type of conversion gives better quality then 1 bit and that 1 bit converters aren't used much anymore. I thought the whole idea of DSD was to keep it in 1 bit domain. Can anyone confirm this and how this unit sounds compared to true 1 bit players? Also can anyone comment on this player itself? I've read some issues with it in regards to tracking discs, but that may get ironned out in the future.
