Well.... I can definately hear the difference between SACD and CD. SACD is superior but the mastering is still important.I have some hearing damage from being in a rock band for many years, but I can still clearly hear changes in my components from break and I do hear differences in cables.
I am beginning to believe that some people cannot hear some of these differences. I am not sure if some are tone deaf just like some people are color blind. Maybe, some people don't know what to listen for or some people just don't care.
