Just read in a Japanese mag an ad of Accuphase's new 2 piece flagship SACD player- DP800 and DC801. It sports a new transport that seems to be encased in one big slab of metal and it apparently sports 8 DAC chips in a MDSD configuration (vs. their usual MDS++, etc.) Like their top preamps, they carry a nice wooden shell. The front plate styling is kind of retro in a nice way. Unfortunately, I have yet to be able to find a web pic of it. All I can say is that it looks amazing!
