Allan Wright is an ethical, decent man who doesn't have to play games and/or discredit others in order to remain in business. I wish the best for him and his continued success.Allan did not, in essense, purchase a competitors product that was offered on the AA/A'Gon Tsunami Auction to reverse engineer it and to have his "Third Party" reviewers compare it against another competitors product in order to further discredit the TRL player. This, in my opinion, is the lowest thing that I've ever seen.
In private e-mails, which I will gladly share, Alex tells me that, "You just don't get it do you? I have many reviewers, recording
engineers and industry associates who will be also willing to review the TRL "mod". Also, I have quite a few not crazy TRL owners who are anxiously awaiting my Pioneer 563a, so rest assured that this is just the tip of the iceberg. You've asked for it so you'll get it."Threats made to a happy TRL customer? Did TRL buy an APL unit and go on the attack? No, they used their own intellectual property and let the market determine. Would TRL buy any competitors product and maliciously send it around to supposed "Third Parties" in order to discredit anyone? No, that practice is un-ethical and dirty.
Paul is too nice of a guy. He says that everyone that e-mails him or calls him see right through these malicious attempts. Well, that's not good enough for me. I rather enjoy exposing these childish games for what they are. :) Their attempt to hurt TRL's business only helps the number of inquiries and units modified. You guys have tried this several times before, and it always gives TRL the same results ... increases in volume. In Alex's own words, " You just don't get it do you?".
You have been used, Mr.Waterman. I wonder if you realize it?
