Funny you should say that! It's been sitting on the den floor upside down since I took it out of the system!

But, it wasn't a sticking disk...I was able to power down the unit, wait a minute, repower it, and then get the disk out.

I tried playing both CD's and SACD's and both exhibited the same problem, they would play for a while and then just stop....

There was also a few times when the unit powered up with a "oboot" on the display the day it stopped working....

It just really torques me that the useage of the SACD1000 cost me $400 a year....worst price vs. performance ratio I've ever had in audio gear...I would have felt a bit better had I bought the thing when they were being blown out for $400...and been really darn near postal if I had spent $2K on it!
