Getting a shock from your gear is bad news. Something is definitely wrong.

Your measurements are not telling you anything useful. You're just reading the residual chassis voltage, not current leakage. The technique for reading current leakage is different.

Keep in mind also that the source of the leaking current may not be your disc player. Current can travel via your interconnects.

Are you using "cheater" plugs" in your system? If so, get rid of them. They are dangerous.
