Lorraine Hunt Lieberson: Handel Arias: Seems to be pure DSD. Who cares if it isn't. Hers is a voice of rare corporeality: you really get the sense that there are womanly curves providing a foundation to the tones. The Theodora arias were a revelation.Apparently, this is setting records for a new (not reissue) native DSD classical SACD: about 15,000 pieces shipped. Awesome.
A shoo-in for a Grammy, I'd bet.
