Mine also exhibited this anomaly and it was very annoying. It wasn't just a continuous hiss but sort of like a zzzzzzzz sound included that was buzzing along with the hiss... I tried aftermarket power cords, the PS300 regenerator and still it was there..I have a dedicated AC line for my rig and the AC is also stable, so wasn't due to a bad sinewave..AP
