Re: Why no specific burn in SACD disc?

It is easy to burn a CDR in pcm, but the equipment needed for sacd is not readily available. I would not be a bit surprised were some Japanese company to have a sacd burnin disk already. I do not know of one, however.

While such a disk would no doubt accelerate break-in of the sacd side of a player, I think you can still expect that extended use of sacds will get you to the same point. There is no question also that a cd burn in disk would be of some benefit in a players as some electronics functions regardless of whether it is a cd or a sacd.
