I was thinking that the next step would be to make a CD-R of the vinyl copy--best of both worlds!I have the expensive Classic vinyl reissue, BTW, and while I'm generally a HUGE fan of Classic's stuff, I find the original LP's in this case to be subtly but audibly superior--they have that certain ineffable "something" in the ambience and sound of the voice and instruments that seems to slightly elude the reissue.
I could certainly live with the Classic, but if given a choice, I'd go for the original vinyl, dubbed to a CD if necessary.
