DAC's in Onkyo DV-SP502 Universal machine

Okay, the player I'm now considering on buying in the next couple of weeks is the Onkyo DV-SP502 (was going for the Philips 963SA, but don't feel like joing the growing group of people with busted Philips products). Hopefully I'll spring for one with Detail MOD's from Oade. One thing I wanted to know for sure though, does this player do the dreadful act of converting DSD to PCM? The unit has a Burr Brown 192hz/24-bit audio DAC. My guess would be it doesn't (think only the cheapo Pioneers do this), but wanna make sure.
