I am relatively new to tube amplification... seems like whenever I throw a tube amp on the end of my system and listen to a good RBCD or SACD, the highs are really really sweeeet and lush. I call this "candy strings" or "candy horns"... get this a lot of the time with RBCD w/upsampling or a SACD with a good quality analog->DSD transfer. Anyone else experience these sulyry and succulent sweet sibilant sounds?? Am I going crazy? If I'm not crazy what discs have others experienced this phenomena on? The Dynaco amp I have been restoring sure made the Ray Charles Duets SACD sound a whole lot better.........
