OK, here is my understanding based on what i have and the conversations with Denon i hvae had about the topic....1) the 3805 Dlink 3 is fully enabled and ready to accept the SACD signal.
2) the 5900 universal player is capable of sending ALL signals, sans the SACD at the moment. This summer they are supposed to release a firmware upgrade that allows the SACD to be output via the DLink.
3) the Dual-DACs per channel on the 3805 are supposed to go from DSD -> Analog without PCM... These are supposed custom DACs by Burr-Brown which are similar to the ones built in to the 5900 but with slightly lower specs... Although the dual-DACs on the 3805 per channel are supposed to be used for better performance.
I know that the DVD-A output from the 5900 to the 3805 is outstanding and can't wait to have the same from SACD. The idea of having a GOOD single cable audio solution from the 5900 will hopefully be a great one!
