Of the stuff available in the US, I would say first Kind of Blue (every jazz fan needs this album), then Round About Midnight, followed by Relaxin', Cookin' and Steamin'. After that Jazz at the Plaza, which is great musically, but is frankly a shitty recording. I am not a big fan of his fusion years. I would say, Big Fun is probably worthwhile followed by the live SACDs Black Beauty, At the Fillmore, etc. I skipped these on SACD, as I am not too into fusion. I like In A Silent Way and Bitches Brew, but I kind of loose interest in Miles output after Jack Johnson. Your milage may vary, of course.
