Don't agree that I was "emotional"

At your urging, I looked again at my post: my first sentence sums it up: to say he is "honest" when he says he wasted three years of his life with SACD is to pick a side on this issue.

I didn't take it personally and I'm not sure why you think I did, or why you think my remarks intemperate for merely stating the issue, to wit: "why is his view 'honest'"? and the followup: "If his view is 'honest' what does that make my view?"

I'm sorry, but there are sides here, and you picked one.

Finally, I stand by my previous statement regarding your comment about "old tapes"; it is with those old tapes that I fully realized the glory of the SACD format. I think the SACD transformation is greatest with the old stuff, but I recognize that others (you and others as well) disagree and I respect that view; as to the primary poster's view, heck no, I don't respect it at all!
