you have to spend a part of your money on other formats than your first priority. I spend about 3000 euro on my marantz dv12s2. Allthough it's excellent I assume I could have bought a better sacd player for that money. Just to
1) be able to play the 10 or so dvd-audio disks you like
2) not to acquire a MC amp with 2x5 inputs (which i don't have)
3) avoid a big stack of equipment the lady does not likeit is indeed a small compromise....
