I just did a comparison of the SACD layer to the CD layer of the "Move it on Over" disk. First off taking into account that this is an early blues/rock recording quality probably was not high on the list so the dynamics kind of suck on both layers.
On the SACD layer I find the bass more tuneful and noticable what little there is. Georges guitar has more of its lower fundamental frequencies and harmonics intact which sounds definitely richer and much fuller. On the CD layer his guitar seems to have a lot more upper treble energy that is anoying and edgy prompting the volume to be reduced which is not the way to listen to George. I definitley find the SACD layer more listenable and enjoyable especially at higher listening levels.
