Dylan SACD Sonics Ranking (update)

I've now heard 9 of the 15 Dylan SACDs. Here's how I rank 'em for sonics (stereo SACD layer only).

DYLAN TWO-CHANNEL SACD SONICS

1. “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan” (shockingly revelatory – do not miss this one!)
2. “Oh Mercy” (luxuriously warm and involving; can be bass-heavy at times)
3. “Planet Waves” (earthy, organic, and immensely satisfying)
4. “Bringing it All Back Home” (amazing sound; occasionally too ‘hot’ on top)
5. “Nashville Skyline” (wonderfully musical and a massive upgrade from the old CD)
6. “Blood on the Tracks” (evolutionary improvement over Limited Millennium Ed. CD)
7. “Slow Train Coming” (full-spectrum sound that suffers from over-production)
8. “Highway 61 Revisited” (lots of detail but lacks dynamics)
9. “Desire” (awful)
