DIY Mods of Philips DVD963SA

Following posts here and elsewhere, I replaced the power supply cap with a Blackgate VK150/350v. Nice mod. You generally can't go wrong with a power supply upgrade and this one is about the easiest upgrade of an electric component I have ever seen. Nice, but modest improvement in low end. More surprising was the increase in clarity and depth. Very cost-effective.

So I thought I'd revive an old thread and ask if anyone had replaced the clock with a more precise one like the Superclock II or the Tent clock. If so, can you report on its effect?
