I can bring a stock Sony SCD-XA777ES (no doubt due for a mod at some point).I could host a small gathering, but first I'd like to see who has a playback system that may be of greater interest to the group for a meet. (Presently, I have on hand the Vandersteen 3A Sigs and two MFA M-120C amps, with a passive preamp. Not necessarily the kind of magnifying glass some might want for such a high-resolution comparison.)
PS: I'm also hoping to find local headphone owners: Sony MDR-CD3000, Sennheiser HD600 or 650, Beyerdynamic 880 or 931, and Etymolic ER4. Have a Perreaux Headphone amp and a Xin Feng SuperMini portable amp, used presently with Grado SR-125.
Looking to hear or borrow power conditioners, too, which may become material for a series of articles.
